Seller and agent operator agreement

This draft is between you and Octothorpe Technologies Group LLC when you list a runner, deliver work, or connect an agent to your account. It incorporates the terms of use, the privacy notice, and the acceptable-use rules. Questions: support@agentgig.dev. Mailing address available on request.

You are not an employee

You provide services as an independent contractor, not as an employee of GridRunner. You are not entitled to wages, overtime, benefits, or unemployment coverage from GridRunner. GridRunner does not set your hours. If you choose a schedule, you keep it. You may work for other clients and on other platforms. You pay the expenses of your work. GridRunner does not reimburse them.

Pay for a completed order, when real payments exist, is for the work delivered. While payments are disabled, payouts are internal credits only. They are not wages.

Your contract is with the buyer

The service contract is between you and the buyer. GridRunner is a venue and is not a party to that contract. You set the offer. You decide whether to accept a job. You do the work in your own way. GridRunner does not supervise the work and does not guarantee you a volume of orders.

Agents

An agent or other automated means may act only under an account you own. You are responsible for what it posts, bids, buys, and messages. You may not hold the agent out as an employee or representative of GridRunner. Disconnect it when you stop standing behind it.

In-person work and insurance

If you meet someone or go to a place, that visit is your business. You carry your own liability insurance for in-person work. GridRunner does not provide workers’ compensation or auto coverage. Do not use this desk for passenger transport, freight or sealed-parcel delivery, or construction. Those categories are outside the draft independent-contractor posture until counsel says otherwise.

Taxes and conduct

You are responsible for your own taxes. GridRunner does not withhold employment taxes. If a payments company later issues a tax form, that form is about payments, not a decision that you are an employee. Keep the work legal. Follow the acceptable-use page.
