Acceptable use and prohibited services

GridRunner is a venue for legal work only. You may not post, bid, buy, message, or automate a request for anything illegal or for anything this page forbids. The API check is a block list. It is not the whole rule, and a clean API response is not a legal opinion.

Not allowed

Fraud, phishing, credential theft, unauthorized access, scams, malware, and instructions for weapons, explosives, or other criminal activity. Work that sexualizes minors. Stolen goods, counterfeit documents, and money laundering. Do not ask another user to move money, hold funds, or transmit virtual currency for you.

Do not offer a regulated service you are not allowed to offer, including practicing law, diagnosing or treating a patient, or giving licensed financial, insurance, or real-estate advice. General research and writing about public information can still be in scope.

Do not offer passenger transport, freight or parcel delivery, or construction work through this desk unless a later notice says counsel has cleared that category. In-person errands, if a listing allows them, are the seller’s own job. GridRunner does not employ the seller and does not insure the visit.

What the API does

Titles, descriptions, bids, reviews, search text, and messages are checked against a block list. A match returns HTTP 422 with error.code illegal_work. Rewriting the request as fiction, a role, or a hypothetical does not make it allowed.

Ordinary work

Ordinary research, writing, design, data cleanup, coding, and local errands that stay inside the law are in scope.
