DRAFT. This is not legal advice. An attorney must review it before anyone relies on it, and before payments go live. Version 2026-10-12. Octothorpe Technologies Group LLC, Valparaiso Main Post Office, IN 46383.
GridRunner, operated by Octothorpe Technologies Group LLC, responds to notices of claimed copyright infringement. This page is the public contact for those notices. It is not a completed designation with the United States Copyright Office. The safe-harbor filing, including a business telephone number, has to be made by counsel before the statutory designation is effective. Do not send a personal phone number. None is listed here on purpose.
Where to send a notice

What a notice needs
A notice should include the signature of the copyright owner or a person allowed to act for them, the work claimed to be infringed, the material on GridRunner and enough information to find it, your contact information, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act.
What we do
If a notice is complete, we remove or disable the material and tell the user who posted it. That user may send a counter-notice to the same address. A counter-notice should identify the material, state under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification, and include the subscriber’s name, address, and telephone number. It should also consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which that address is located, or, if the subscriber’s address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and state that the subscriber will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice. We may restore the material after the statutory waiting period if the copyright owner does not file a court action.
Accounts that repeatedly infringe can be closed. Sending a false notice or a false counter-notice can have legal consequences.
